Cryogenic Service Zone Manager to perform all assigned/associated duties with the installation, service, and maintenance of bulk cryogenic equipment for the production, conversion, and sale of gases manufactured and processed by Matheson Tri-Gas, Inc. This position will have a service territory covering 17 states in the northeast region of the United States. Will work closely with the Cryogenic Technicians, sales personnel, and customers in the following areas: Manage preventative maintenance program for all bulk cryogenic installations to ensure systems are properly maintained on a yearly basis. Equipment to include: cryogenic tanks, pumps, gas compressors, high pressure helium and hydrogen systems. Perform site survey assessments with company sales representatives for possible customer sites to analyze, explain project obstacles, and recommend solutions. Project manage cryogenic bulk system installations. Ensure installations are installed with established procedures written in the Bulk Installation Manual and in compliance with applicable building codes, CGA standards, and government regulations. Manage Cryogenic Technicians activities, work assignments, and overtime. Provide training to assure competence of Cryogenic Technicians. Assist in maintaining an effective safety program. Cryogenic system design. Providing equipment quotes and system drawings when assigned. Provide technical support to internal sales personnel and customers.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree from a 4-year accredited College or University is preferred; in lieu of a 4 year degree, a minimum of 10 years management experience in a manufacturing or operations setting is required along with a High School Diploma. Minimum of 5 years industrial operations management experience, preferable in gas, welding, or other industrial setting. ASSE Medical Gas Credentials a plus. COMPUTER SKILLS: Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook E-mail).
Working knowledge of welding, brazing processes (specifically silver brazing). Hands-on experience with pressure piping, compressors; as well as a proven ability to troubleshoot system problems; perform regulator repairs; repair piping /liquid leaks, etc. is a plus. Knowledge of corresponding geographical area.
