  • Overview


    Perform welding duties including fabrication of industrial equipment.  You will be assembling parts to complete units and component parts in a specialized area.  You will also ensure the consistent quality of your work while also observing all safety regulations.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

    1. Skilled in a variety of metal welding an finishing techniques
    2. Rigging Experience
    3. Polishing experience
    4. Fabricate from professional blueprints and follow material lists
    5. Use with proficiency common metal shop tools and equipment (torches, grinders, drills, taps, saws, fixtures, measuring, and TIG/MIG welding
    6. Fabricate from raw material to finished product
    7. Operate forklift as needed
    8. Other projects and duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.     • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    • Forklift Certification
    • Five plus years of experience working in a fabrication shop
    • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook E-mail)
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
    • Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words, and recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
