The National Packaged Gas Driver Recruiter is a critical role, ensuring that we attract and hire experienced Packaged Gas Drivers to deliver our products locally. The National Packaged Gas Driver Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing and screening qualified commercial, Class A CDL and Class B CDL Drivers to fill existing needs, as well as to establish a pipeline for sufficient, future Driver demands.

Position Accountabilities: 

  • Conduct day-to-day Driver recruiting activities, follow recruiting processes and act as a resource on all points of the Driver recruitment cycle.
  • Creatively source and develop a pool of qualified Class A CDL (w/ Tanker Endorsement, preferred) and Class B CDL (Hazmat, Air Brake Endorsement and Medical card, prior packaged gas tractor-trailer experience) Driver applicants through the use of traditional and non-traditional techniques including job postings, print and radio advertising, social media channels, cold-calling/direct sourcing, networking, obtaining referrals, job fairs, employment agencies, Internet searches, etc. 
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to fully understand their hiring needs and the specifications of their open Driver requisitions.
  • Successfully handle a high requisition load and maintain clear communication with both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Demonstrate unparalleled integrity and high energy while working under minimal supervision.
  • Provide a superior candidate experience throughout the hiring process.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience sourcing, recruiting and interviewing Driver’s.
  • Proven success in using creative and diverse sourcing techniques to produce a qualified candidate pool.
  • Familiarity with Class A CDL and Class B CDL licensing (Hazmat, Air Brake Endorsements and Medical card, packaged gas tractor-trailer drivers) and DOT regulations required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle a high requisition load and effective juggle multiple tasks is a must.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field desired, but not required.
